Davy Well Drilling Ltd is proud to have been in business for over 100 years. Over the past century we’ve developed a good reputation, plenty of experience and scores of satisfied customers.
Back in 1913…
As a family-owned and –operated business in Verona, Ontario, Davy Well Drilling Ltd takes personal satisfaction in pleasing our customers – just as our great grandfather did when he started well drilling back in 1913, using a horse-drawn well drill. Back in those days, the workers would even board at the customer’s home until the job was done.
How Things Have Changed!
Today we have rotary and cable tool machines that can complete your new well in just one day, usually. Now in our 5th generation of well drillers, the Davy family has seen a lot of technology changes since we started in the well drilling industry. In the early 20th century, customers had to write us for an estimate. Now we offer free estimates over the phone, fax or email.
Giving Back
Over the years Davy Well Drilling Ltd has sponsored or donated to many boys’ and girls’ hockey teams and baseball teams. We also support the annual Portland Volunteer Fire Department Fishing Derby, the Verona Cattail Festival, the Antique Car Classic Show, and the Parham Fair.
We enjoy sponsoring and contributing to golfing tournaments, the Verona Lions Jamboree, the Centerville Fair, the Loughborough & Portland Districts Canada Day, Frontenac Old Time Music Championships, the Verona Community Association, and efforts by Prince Charles Public School, as well as donating to area families in need.
